Got 'er done! That's the big part. Congratulations!

Kielo went up to Nine Mile for some racing this weekend. So you might stop off there on your way home to get in a few k's and break up the long drive.

Thanks with lots of driving the ski season will continue.
Nine mile had the Badger St Games for skiing. It's so out of the way from Marquette.
Will stop at Blueberry again to ski. They build a very nice warming shed a couple of years ago that I help sponser. So gonna go use it today.

Nice! Warming hut at Blueberry? Much needed! Sounds like a worthwhile recipient for donations.

And why fight with half the skiing population in Wisconsin when you have your own 'private' ski area, which probably has better grooming and snow right now!

Marquette now has excellent ski conditions, so if you really wanted to ski somewhere, this is the place to go. I may be biased up this town has it all, Good places to eat, brew pubs, nice people, scenery and lots of outdoor activities.

Yes, for my money, Marquette is the #1 tourist destination this side of Lake Michigan. Much better than Door County or the rugged 'driftless' area of SW Wisconsin. The only trouble: too far away!

Did you end up skiing Blueberry on your way out? Was the warming hut warm?

Funny you asked. They do have a heater and Twohey and Claire have keys to the joint. But the clay pipe exhaust was broke and needed fixing.
They still have a furnace, not as warm or cozy of course. But we had lunch in there before we took off.
