I know you were aiming for this race and it's good to hear a positive report! Sounds like pretty terrific conditions with real, actual snow (which exists, apparently, somewhere, and that somewhere is Craftsbury). Sorry I missed it this year. And probably next year.

Also, you got nearly twice the elevation that I did last year. Maybe it's time to kick some dollars over to attackpoint because my climb will be so much higher using their filter!

That elevation number seems suspect... Ruthie's is only a 60m climb.

I definitely did not go through a lap looking at what each climb shows as a low and a high point. But if I had, I'm guessing it would show ~212m of climb per lap, or 848 overall.

Mine is showing about 150 to 160 m climb per lap (per Suunto movescount website). I'll upload it to AP and see what it says for me after I edit out some extra distance at the end due to evidently having not stopped it. (I remembered but apparently failed anyway.)

Alternatively if you click on the "Course - Strava" link on the Course Maps page, Strava reports the course as 219 m climb per lap.

Odd... AP says 866 for me, after editing out the non-race junk at the end, and missing a bit less than 3 km at the beginning, which wasn't much climb. So that puts me pretty close to the Strava number, which 4 x 219 = 876.

Congrats on the race!
That fast Ottawa masters was Sheila Kealey, who has a bunch of sports nutrition stuff on her website:

Thanks Nevin! She's been coming to enough Eastern Cups that I definitely knew she was a fast one.
