C'mon. Running with a little dog? Step up to Burro Racing.

Now that girls are into the sport, you need to become familiar with it. You'd turn a few heads in Bristol Woods, chasing after a honkin' donkey! And think what a burro would do, grazing in Spike Woods! I hear they love buckthorn!

running races with a dog takes me back to the early 70s running with Duke, a lab mix. Rules and consideration were just being 'invented' back then. There was untethered Duke rarin' to go, barking and prancing a few feet ahead of the several hundred pack of tense runners at the start. And interfering with some runners’ adrenal surge when the gun went off, and continuing to do so...

With a cord, you might tie up your competition with a little luck! Watch out for trail rage...?

No donkeys for me. The buckthorn is gone.

The bungee will just take up any slack. My dog might have issues with other dogs, might want to play, so not sure about this uncharted territory.
I thInk there might be a couple of pro canicross racers, but the rest not sure about them. Gives me something to focus on.

It sounds as if you opted for Ursa Minor when Ursa Major would have been the way to go. After all, it's a dog-eat-dog world out there.

Well my girl has serious issues with other aggressive dogs. This could be a problem and will find out Sunday. I think she was born in a fight ring group. I have to get some bigger non aggressive dog friends to visit soon.
Will definitely be looking out for trail rage.
