You got faster each time you went out
Yeah. Surprisingly I recovered well between legs, but I think it also had a lot to do with the climb profile of each of the legs. I think I also pushed myself harder in the afternoon as it looked like we were a good chance of taking the lead.
It's a great day of racing, and seriously good training. I will have to invite you to compete one day.

It would be fun to do an orienteering relay like this, with teams picked schoolyard style. Preliminary seedings and days of banter about lack of fitness and form are all part of the fun.
The aspect of team cars and driving ahead to the next change over point is also quite fun. Sometimes the runners get lost, or even the team cars can get lost. But of course, orienteers would never have this problem.
