I found it interesting to see that your snowshoe pace wasn't far off of your running pace. Also how small a foot print your snowshoes have. Nicely done.

The running lap includes the transition and a bit of trail with poor traction. I'm still pleased with that run lap- be interesting to see if any bike/runners beat my split.

How's your leg feeling, VB?

'Bent's Snowshoe-Run splits were virtually identical to the 2015 race although (a) the snowshoe course was completely different and more hilly two years ago, and (b) conditions were much slower this time with all the fresh snow.

The conditions might have been slower than his old mark, but I'd be happy with those conditions all winter long.

It helped that Bechtel wasn't racing this time.

Looks like I had the fastest road run split, but not by a whole lot. One of the bike/runners wasn't far behind.

Almost as fast on snowshoes as running without them?! Deadly!
