I'm getting the impression that there is no snow at sea level but there is in the higher suburbs and the forests? I'm coming up for the weekend this weekend and wondering what I'll be dealing with (although have only just started running properly again post-injury so won't be doing anything too ambitious).
The streets at fjord-level are pretty much bare but up where we live (200m) it looks very wintry -- roads all covered with crumbly snow, frosted trees, lots of sledding on our route to the metro. It's not a lot of snow and trails are all packed so it makes for nice running. I wore trail shoes for my run home today and they were appreciated for the second half, which was all in snow and almost no ice.
That sounds fine - doesn't look like I'll need to bring metal studs (with a 30-minute connection in Copenhagen I don't want to check luggage if I can help it). Cassie's also at about 200m so I'd expect conditions to be fairly similar there.
