Probably happened at track workout a couple weeks ago. Don't know if it was the end result of, or in addition to the issues I'd been having. 4 - 6 weeks for recovery. at least I can still bike, hike, and swim.

nope. no interest. swimming a few laps in a pool, in a lane by me self is ok. not so much with a bunch of other people in a lake.

a lot of injured runners turn to elliptical and pool running for a low impact approximation of running form...

i've done both. elliptical is ok for retaining some running fitness, but because of the specific injury, the elliptical isn't an option. I personally didn't find pool running to be all that rewarding.

same here -my best pool running was in slightly over waist high water, acting as though I was sprinting. with some forward motion and some floor impact, so not your typ pool running workout.
