I played several sports through middle school, but the only one I played in high school was tennis. I only played junior and senior years, and I wasn't that great, only playing JV.

Anyway, there were a few days of tryouts, ending on a Friday, so I went and made the team (barely). Then the following week was the first week of practice, and it snowed all week. Coach took the six varsity guys to some fancy indoor courts, leaving the rest of us JV guys (~24) to fend for ourselves practicing in the snow. You really can't play tennis in snow.

Hmm sounds like a great coach... Our tennis teams have been complaining about having to practice indoors due to rain, snow must be a lot worse! I have no tennis experience but I'm picturing a tennis ball just kind of sticking to the snow instead of bouncing.
