Discussion: Roque Nublos video

The vid from this hike is up now.

Nice. Is that trail representative of the race? There are spots were it looked like giants had a rock fight.

That section was in my race but 'Bent started a few kms farther along. Trail conditions varied a lot but I'd say this trail was one of the less technical ones. It sees a lot of traffic since Roque Nublo is the most famous hike on the island and it's less than 5 km. Unfortunately, we missed the spectacular views in the fog but Charlotte and I were lucky enough to see them on race day.

Actually, I just watched the video again and realized it includes a good section of scrambling around the base of Roque Nublo on sketchy trails. We didn't do that part in the race and the majority of the race course was less technical than that.
