There are so many ash. Kinda sad to see them go. Perhaps the will replant with more diversity.

My city (Apple Valley) is proactively replacing ash trees before the ash borers get to them. They are offering homeowners 1) remove ash trees along the street, 2) restore the lawn, and 3) replace with diverse species (homeowner can choose from a list of several options).
I think that's a smart way to do it.
