I rode less than 20 km on the rail trail yesterday and felt wiped out after that. Great job!

I've had days in the snow on the fatbike this winter when 20km was a lot of work. I started thinking about equivalence but the snow season mostly ended before I pinned it down. I was tending in the direction relative to road distance something like this:
- crumbling, but mostly hard pack snow a bit under 2:1
- heavy wet snow (15cm) approaching 3:1
- ice is just scary and very demanding mentally

Nice! Wish we had decent riding here.

Bash: 61km is my minimum qualifying distance for my age rides this year. I feel like the spirit of the challenge as of tomorrow would be 61 rides of 61km in 61 days. I did have a couple of doubles with a 125 & a 135, and might have tried to slip them in as 2 rides each if I hadn't made the 60 rides.

'Bent: I've been wondering about how my personal challenge will work in a year I stay home. A few years ago I remember working incredibly hard to make the distance on my mountain bike on packed snow.

I didn't say 61K was scary and very demanding for YOU! ;) Congratulations - that's a serious achievement.
