missed you at LL. Not a lot was open but if it was open, it was in very good shape and condition on the open trails were perfect for skating. On Sunday they also opened Karhu so it got more interesting.
The only reason they had closed Karhu was because one 1.5 meter section over a wet area had no snow. They built a snow bridge over it and the rest of the trail was perfect.
Unfortunately, on Friday night their info was somewhat inconclusive, so we blinked :(
Looks like it was the last chance.
we were unsure too and planned to hike if conditions were bad. there is still tons of snow up there but all you need are a few bare spots to close the trail.
