looks like a lot of fun!

Is there a bad time of year for orienteering there (i.e., too hot or too scratchy)?

This is definitely one of our better maps, but the whole area is great.

Really, from June to September it's not too enjoyable here. The only time you can get out for a run is at 7 am or after 8 pm. During the day it's normally around 40-45 with a wide blue sky. Beautiful, but not great for training.

I'm hoping to get out to the mountain cabin I lived in last summer. It's an hour from Madrid and the temperatures are much more manageable (highs of 33). You'd be welcome to stay. Thinking of a trip to Madrid?

We're always thinking of trips to other places in Europe. :-) More seriously, been wanting to visit Madrid again for a while. I have a lot of relatives there and I've had zero contact with any of them since moving to Norway. It would be cool to take Melissa and Lukas there *and* do some orienteering. Just not sure when we'd be able to do it.
