You're the only person I know who does things on a SUP. Here's a challenge for you: long SUP trip
Wow, his high tech SUP is a step above the cushy, inflatable SUP I like for yoga! I might have paddled as much as 2 km in one session so I'm just about ready for this.
I'm getting one! Do you think I could find one on kijiji?!
Sure, he's probably tired of it!
I see that thing and what he did and now I have a thousand questions?!?!
I'll have to dig into it when I have some time... pretty cool tho'
I'd be nervous on Georgian Bay on a windy day on that boat! I can't imagine crossing the Atlantic - wow.
Exactly. How do you make a decision when/where to sleep and are there any stability adjustments to be made (eg. slap on an outrigger) etc?
Would suck to wake up in a roll...
... And when it's over, how many times does he just take a 'whizz' in public, before adjusting the fact that he's not alone in the middle of the ocean anymore??
:) That's true of adventure racers too.
I often come close to blowing snot rockets in my office after a long adventure race or even a week of backcountry skiing
