Discussion: acquiring stuff

My brother pointed out that if at some point you buy a particular large item (a house), stuff will start accumulating to fill it. I know people for whom this does not happen, but for most it does. When I moved to Colorado at age 33, I did it pretty much with a Corolla station wagon. Now at 56 I have a three-bedroom house packed with possessions. (A lot of them aren't even mine.)

By the way, a 100 pound box is a bad idea, compared to several smaller boxes.

Yeah, I noticed that after I finished loading it. Dishes are heavy. Most of the large boxes were filled with low-density items, like clothes, blankets, comforters, etc.
