Lovely looking lady, lucky to have such a nice son. Best wishes to you.
My sincere condolences. I'm glad you were with her at the end...
Sincere condolences! Looks like she had a fulfilling and active life to near the end.
Sad to hear. She was a fine lady and (along with Joe) raised two first-class kids.
Sad news. My condolences.
So sad to hear this news. Sounds like you have a lot of great memories.
Sad, indeed. But, as your words suggest, also fortunate not to have had to endure a long decline.
She was an exceptionally fine person, and I will always remember how nice and friendly she and your dad were to me when they welcomed me into their house while I was mapping Townsend.
And as a small side note, the macaroni and cheese she made was the best I've ever had.
Yes, many (m)others died on March 16, but your mother was special. She would have to be since you are so special. You are in good company, and among friends. Hang in there.
Sorry to hear, but happy she was spared a long decline. I yearn (hope to?) to leave this world quickly (when my time comes). Glad you could be there with her. You are a good son.
Sorry for your loss. Never got to meet her but she must have been special, based on everything I read here.
I've been handling this pretty well, because at that age the end is never unexpected. But after reading these comments, it occurred to me how much I'm going to miss that macaroni and cheese.
Her
obituary.
She made some fine chocolate chip cookies too.
So sorry to hear this, J-J. My thoughts and condolences to you.
