K.o.m. to you - of all the people i follow on ap, you have the most training hours right now! Others are apparently injured, recovering from illness or a big event, or just shifting gears. Nonetheless, impressive!
thanks, I feel like I'm maintaining minimal fitness while concentrating on the eating habits. it's easy to put in hours when training at low intensity. most of this is "built in" exercise, like the commute to metro.
You guys are an inspiration, though. I have hopes of being "competitive" in my age group again, or for the first time. just got the senior games brochure and sad I likely will not be trained for it. just have to take the long view. set aside a year to get my eating in order, then come back in 2018 or maybe even this fall for the Turkey runs, have to plan my "comeback" race, haha.
'competitive' doesn't have to mean first or second, you know. anyway, good to have a long range plan for sure.
