Discussion: Nice pics

Very good focus on the nuthatch.
This looks slightly different from our Eurasian nuthatch that has a more orange breast as opposed to your White-breasted nuthatch.

Thank Leif, I have a full size DSLR that I am always hesitant to carry around with the big lens. The quality of the compact zoom cameras is getting better. So now I will always have one for my ski/mapping/tourist adventures tucked into my pocket.

Yes, the days of the big cameras are gone. I used a regular big camera many years ago but with quality of the smaller compact cameras getting much better I rarely use it any more. I have been considering getting back into more photography (with a "real" camera) again but nothing has come out of it yet...
