Yikes, that doesn't sound fun! What happened? I used to get hip pain when running so I might be able to give some suggestions...

Nope, I really hate injuries! (I'm sure you do too). I'm not too sure. I went for a run, hip kinda felt weird during the run but I though it would be fine. Afterwards, whenever I put weight on the right leg it would hurt (the pain felt like it was near the joint of my femur and hip). I've tried rolling and stretching, that helps a lot, probably don't do it enough :/. I'd love some suggestions! :)

Rolling and stretching is definitely a good idea! Also I would recommend glute/hip strengthening exercises such as the ones in this link:

Recommend rolling/stretching daily, and doing about 10-20 minutes of strength work 3-4 times per week. And of course, always be aware of how you feel when you're exercising and if something doesn't feel right, don't be afraid to back off a little! If you have access to a pool, swimming is a great, low-impact form of cross-training, especially if you need to reduce the amount of time you spend running. Hope this helps!
