I started having that problem after sessions as well, similarly like half way through a warm down.. I used to just stop and go to the nearest bus stop home!
Hmm it's a puzzler. I'm sure a sports scientist of some sort could help out. Annoying when you want to do a longer warm down but just can't physically keep running! The bus is not a bad idea though!
It's mostly annoying because I always felt like I hadn't overdone the session, but literally couldn't keep running.. I thought it could have been blood sugar?
Yeah I mean they're hard sessions but definitely not over the top. Yeah very possible - I guess maybe it's just worth doing some trial & error. It's always hard with nutrition though, you don't want to overdo it before the run.
Agreed. I also don't like eating straight after as it makes me feel sick on a warm down; can't win :P
