Left 8:15 arrive 3:30 yesterday. Out at 5:40 to walk. This is a heavily oriental area...lots of oriental 'script' on business fronts and signs even on main street signs. 74 here...about 50 something and rain back home so lucked out there and guess it is in 30's up in Duluth town.
We had like 53 yesterday! Crazy.
I never think of Houston as an Asian center.
There for work?
Yep. It was concentrated in this area...I mean the Asian influence...I guess it's their China Town as I understand it.
I'm done as far as work...I'm just trying to still do my job and survive but I'm ready to get out of this for sure. It's crazier by the month. I don't know how things get done in this world anymore because most people are just trying to survive...half the people working are new and are poorly trained and yet things roll on...what I see is a lot of unnecessary tension by the way things are done...insurance is classic of this.
For as many problems as there are on any sort of claim, health, car or home sometimes it's just a amazing as how many claims get handled properly even though there are plenty of nightmare stories too...there are lots of nightmares on our side dealing with people...insured, contractors, etc etc.
Any job has good things and bad...I would not want James to do this for a living but at least he would have good benefits if he did...the worst thing is to work a job you hate, make no money and have no benefits...or really crappy ones.
