I didn't realize sandhill cranes visited the northeast. They were a common sight in Michigan. Lucky you.

I've heard of them passing through near Albany, and PG's area isn't that far away. They don't hang around, though. Nice photo! We've seen them out west (summer) and in Florida (winter).
