Did we know about
this PhD thesis?
Author Lisa Moyer applies measurements from a common education standards framework to assess the impact on schoolchildren of an orienteering learning activity.
She uses the Framework for 21st Century Learning, which assesses not only academic subjects, but also skills relating to learning and innovation skills, information and use of technology, and life and career. In applying for a grant to create an orienteering summer program, my organization was asked to relate what we do to this 21st Century framework, so I know from personal experience that it's used to assess and provide guidelines for education programs.
