We used to have a Harvard campus map. Is it so out of date that satellite images are more usable?

Yes. I have the old map around somewhere but just the base his data actually has all the right buildings and paths on it.

yeah, I've run a lot on the old one. Alas, it's very out of date and ISOM, which makes it less fun than the base data. Campuses just keep building stuff!

And, the Cambridge road/sidewalk/curb/building/tree GIS data is pretty damn close to an orienteering map, which is nice.

Cambridge GIS is quite excellent. The base map layers have pretty much everything you'd need (other than under-building passages). They must have gotten a good intern to lay it out.

Maybe I can talk to them and tell them they really should extend the sidewalks/paths/roadways layers under buildings. Get them to do the legwork!
