I thought this one would be tough, but the decsription said "lone tree, needle leaved". And from way far away, you could see the silhouette of this one gigantic single pine tree against the night sky, so it was just a matter of getting to it. There was the slight matter of getting around a patch of light or medium green that should have been mapped as the new ISOM2017 "impassable" green, but you could see your target from far away, you just had to get to it.

9, 10, and 11 felt like the swamps of Estonia. Yucko, yucko, yucko - my legs were getting really tired after that.

Mike, you are quite correct. Good orienteers, such as yourself and Spike, noticed that the clue was for a conifer, and looked up to see the tree. I was tired and in a sour mood, so I was not so smart.
