Discussion: eclipse-O

You're so close to the eclipse path. Have you considered doing this a couple weeks earlier?

As to punch cards, Gale's Orienteering and the Bermans still carry Tyvek cards... see the OUSA website for links. If you want cardboard ones, write to EMPO (Phil H-T), who I'm sure would be happy of dispose of our remaining supply (if he hasn't already tossed them)--20 control boxes per card, printed in the late 1990s, I think.

@JanetT--thanks for the info. Assuming it all comes together and I can secure a permit, I'll get in touch with Phil first. I'd be happy to help clubs dispose of whatever remaining punch cards they have left.

@fossil--poor timing on the part of the eclipse.

I did some lobbying (starting a couple of years ago) to schedule orienteering in Wyoming near (but not in the day of) the eclipse, but to no avail.
