Discussion: sad

Fear of bike loss and associated costs of replacement actually stops me from biking to more places. Hopefully you get what you need for a new bike from your insurance!

The worst! My bike was stolen last summer (although they did leave my helmet...). I got a kryptonite lock and locking skewers for my front/rear wheels and seat post... I still hate locking my new bike up places.

In exciting news though, what kind of new bike are you going to buy!??!

I say get something like this, so you don't have to pee in the side of the road.

@Kate what sucks is that I usually take my secondary bike if I'm gonna leave it in a public place for any length of time, but it happens to be out of commission at the moment and I haven't got around to fixing it yet, so I chanced it this one time.

@Alison don't know! I really liked that bike (damn it all) and it was a Cannondale, so I'll probably look around for another like it.

@Lina ...no words.
