First, nice on getting out for midweek navigation practice!

Kevin and Igor should have Marshall in good enough shape to do terrain / map study on trails, plus the loops behind the east medical center where we did that livelox, and then also Cherry Hill, not huge detours. Or North Campus if you can figure out where to park.....

Thanks guys! I have always really liked Bird Hills, so you can imagine my surprise when it wasn't a great option. :\

I've used Bird Hills for running on trails and recognizing terrain type practice, I think for that it's fine, no evil eye and no green. If you want to get really good, get lost in that flat featureless part of Barton between the dam and the railroad bridge, and try to know where you are.

Um, yeah, I did. Went to get those 2 depressions and the fence. -1 on the fence, +2 on the depressions.
