I got a mio last summer. same thing. total waist of money. send it back asap. or... maybe that is your tempo pace ;)

it blows me away that they can actually sell this... i have been garmin users for years starting with their very bike and run devices. i got it at REI so super easy return... I'll be heading there this weekend for sure.
