Just wanted to get you opinion of the placement. I was doing fairly well up to here and attacked from the dry ditch / trail nw and ran a bearing for 75 paces coming right to the rootstock I felt was just south of the control. Nothing there. wondered around, out to the trail to the south and back in from a depression with a control to the rootstock and nothing. back out to the south trail farther west to a high point and another control and reattack same place no control. wondered north back to the dry ditch and took that methodically east to the second slight reentrant heading south. was coming up on the same location and spotted a control to my right. That was it but it didnt even seem like it was in a reentrant. I didnt spend any more time there trying to figure it out. I Just wanted to leave the area.

I also thought things seemed a bit off in there. I attacked from where the major trail (which runs NE/SW) takes a turn at a junction with the indistinct trail. I hit what I thought was the re-entrant right on but did not see the flag. Looked to my left (NE) and saw the flag maybe 10 m away. It didn't seem to be hung quite in the re-entrant. I never noticed the rootstock but wasn't really looking for it. I was careful in there because I was a bit off on my approach to #4 earlier and found the contours seemed weak in that area.

Wow. If you're talking about attacking from the 90 degree bend just east of the shooting range, that seems like a long run in the blueberries when the main trail heads in that general direction. The again, there is no second guessing where you will jump off the trail.
I feel a bit better that I didn't miss an obvious one but bummed that I didn't see it coming in and then that I let it throw off the next two controls.
Always something to learn from :)

No, I meant the junction NW of the control (nearly on the straight line from 4-5).
