Pink Socks:
I'm originally from Kansas City, so I didn't spend much time in Wichita until two month-long trips in 2013.

When I was there, I made two orienteering-related things:

Wichita 'Hood Hunt. It's urban orienteering with trivia checkpoints. It's been four years, but I suspect that most of the locations are still there, since I used a lot of plaques, artwork, etc (ie: not random things in people's yards like I used for similar events in Seattle).

A 1:2500 scale (and 2-foot contours!) sprint-ish map of Harrison Park. It was near my hotel and it was my first attempt at making a map in Open Orienteering Mapper. At the time, there was a brand new Orienteering Wichita Facebook page and I gave them the map, but the page is gone now. If you're interested, I'll email a PDF of it to you.

Awesome! I just sent you an email. I was going to try to get out to one of the state parks but fell sick so Harrison might be perfect. Thanks for making the map and offering to send it! I should teach myself that open O mapper thing one of these days....keep getting sent to places with no O venues.

Mr Wonderful:
www.caltopo.com is my no o venue easy-usgs sheet maker. Granted, I have more need of USGS practice than you do.

If you find a campus, you can get a crude sprint-looking map easily via:

http://oomap.co.uk/global/#/new/oterrain_global/15...

won't give you awnings and minimum width gaps, but in a pinch...
