ebone: I was a little sore from yesterday (maybe it had something to do with running through the mud?)

Aren't you usually sore after you race?

Congratulations, again, on the District Championship!

TBorish: Yeah, a little. I guess I was just more sore than normal.

ebone: Slippery footing can make a difference, though. It causes your legs to move differently--laterally or in an uncontrolled manner--in a way that can put atypical strains on your muscles. My hip adductors and my knee muscles/tendons/ligaments have gotten quite sore after some runs I've done on snow or ice.
