26 seconds off of a 4 minute climb is huge.
This could be a fun race season.
Yeah they are going well when they are shortish.
It's the after 2.5k mark that I die. But that's totally a mental thing.
So keep working on the mental! Win it all! :)
The cool thing about this: if you already have what it takes physically, then you get to decide whether you go there mentally. So go there!!

I noticed an interesting thing about hills yesterday: my stick bike climbs really well, but in the past I thought it kind of sucked relative to the road bike. I realized that a key difference is that on the stick bike I'm always looking at the top of the hill so it looks like it stays far away. On the road bike I'm mostly looking at the next 50m and don't have to check how much further I have to go.
Hills in the fog are great mental training for me because I can't see the top.
I have also noticed that's if I have done the hill before it's easier because I know it. Maybe I can pace it or mentally I just know I've done it.
I can do this for sure.
It's just the mental game.
