I had planned to ride my bike on the gravel roads at Scioto Trail Sunday, but I cancelled because I've been feeling bad. Seven hours! Wow.

Heads up - there is logging going on in part of the forest. So some trails or roads may be closed. The old airstrip is full of logs waiting to be loaded and hauled out.

Also, Forest Road 6 will be closed all day on May 20. Not sure why, but there are several signs announcing the closure. Since that is a Saturday, I'm assuming some special event eg bike race or adventure race, rather than logging. I haven't tried to figure out by googling events yet.

Also, on Mother's Day weekend, remember to expect TOSRV road bike traffic on Three Locks Rd along the Scioto - southbound on Sat and northbound on Sun. Its not as big as it used to be, but I think they still get a couple thousand.

May 19-20 is the Southern Ohio Forest Rally, which is a race for cars, I believe. I'm thinking this is a fast sort of race rather than the old hold-constant-speed-type of rallying. May 19 is at Zaleski; May 20 is at Scioto Trail.

Thanks for the info.
