Yes, after the "boring" track meet he was at today, the first thing he did after getting home was to go up to the tennis courts.
Today (Sunday, 4/30/2017) I got back to the track meet I'd left Max at, after the QOC Mason Neck meet. I got there just as all the 200m runners were gathered on the field waiting to run. I couldn't even pick out Max from the crowd until it thinned down and that took about 50 minutes. Max was in lane 6 (outside) and complained during the race that I was messing him up. I was cheering but he said later it made him laugh. He said he slowed down, and he did end up last. The other kids were probably older and more trained for a sprint. Max was ready to leave quickly and things were clearing out anyway. It was a long hot day there and they ran out of food at the concession stand.
