That is a bummer but at least the timing works out so that you'll be raring to go by next summer, little one in tow. ;-)

Congratulations from me too, and I definitely approve of the choice of background vision. Some would be unkind enough to suggest that for the full experience you should do it while standing under a cold shower (although most of us who did the Tongariro Crossing at some stage between Oceania and WMOC got decent conditions for it).

Yay and congrats! We may be able to save orienteering yet! I have heard that swimming is awesome pregnant (though I never got to try it) and I also found hiking to be very enjoyable up to the bitter end...
Can't wait to meet up with the little ones at events so!

Best wishes to the two of you (+ little one in a few months!). I'm sure you'll figure out what exercises you can manage while pregnant.

I saw this originally and may have looked back through your log to see if everyone else knew. Excellent post and excellent news.

Woo! Congrats to you and Tom!

I found O really good - if eventually really slow - all the way to the end with both kids because I didn't have the problem of finding a restroom every 15 mins that I had running in town. But by the 3rd trimester, swimming was the only way I remembered what "normal" felt like. Best wishes as you figure out what works for you, growing another person is hard work!
