Winning the race despite having to do extra work and your own navigation! Your training and racing is looking great, Tom!

It was a strange race. Most of the stronger runners were competing in the half or full marathon. I was sure there were at least 2 people ahead of me at the Nature Center but after hitting Arc Corner, I saw no sign of them. Never saw them at the finish either. Maybe they made an even worse wrong turn than me:)

The extra jog in the course that I missed that went back down to the creek made absolutely no sense. If the course had gone uphill from Arc Corner (like me), it would have been right on the advertised 6.2 mile distance.

I was about 10 minutes faster last time I ran this but that course was truly 6.2 miles and it was a much cooler day.

One more long run tomorrow and then I get to taper - woohoo!

He is unstoppable! Way to go Tom.

Still struggling with the navigation I see. Even in a trail race:)

Yes, I'm hoping the navigational issues don't continue next weekend in Pittsburgh. I could end up in one of the rivers.
