Smudgecat seemed a lot happier after we managed to (accidentally) lose Tiger - her greedy bossy selfish brother - when moving house.

Hope Katniss comes home soon!

Shadow used to like licking Katniss' clean though - he does that to me too - and they used to sit in the backyard together. They only rarely fought each other although those instances were mostly instigated by Katniss. Now I have no-one to keep me company in the study (Katniss would always come in, fall flat on her side and go to sleep).

We have a dog who does that, complete with sighs & snores.
When I got home from NZ I gave Meatloaf a hug and offered him some of my fleas (although hopefully I didn't actually bring any with me from the dodgy motel.)

The strange thing is, my cat Gandalf used to race out in the morning when I fed the other cats, would roll around on the ground, eat some grass and race back in. Now she won't even go out, not since before the weekend.

Could have been because of the bouncy castle. She is traumatised now. :(

I'm wondering if those mosquito sticks have changed the smell of the backyard and the cats don't recognise it now.

I hope not.
