Some random number :-)
You have a remarkable running talent, banked w compound interest over a lifetime. You can seemingly sprint very fast times w rather minimal training. That works well with your demanding work schedule and other interests, n'est pas? But it could also have its disadvantages, because it may be too easy to take your foot off the gas since the carrot is so accessible (mixing metaphors from the age of transition from horse and buggy to horseless carriage:)) Just some random thoughts that may lead nowhere.
Thanks for the thoughts and conceptually that resonates. I'm trying to avoid the temptation to give it all a rest, but have decided that something is better than nothing. Would like to regain a bit more endurance reserve though, but recognize that you can't do everything!
I like the 'something is better than nothing' philosophy! That can take us a long way. Also agree that endurance reserve also seems like a positive. Good luck!
