I couldn't handle the abuse I was getting at my LBS (or from phatty) with a 26'er any longer, despite it still seemingly lighter, easier to pack in AR and faster than this new one.
I was being abused too! I'm keeping my old 26er around because it still might be useful sometimes. It's heavier than my new 29er but it fits in my bike bag if I want to fly with it.
Yes, let's plan a ride some time when you want an easy day! I brought home my Pivot today and now I'm staring out the window, willing the rain to stop.
