Interesting, my tracker has always ended up with around 2500m when going from my house. Although I see you put down 2000m last time which was when we did the tracks instead of the road. Tane got 2500m for the same loop.

It depends how often your watch records data as that will smooth out the track quite a bit if it's 10-15secs.

Yea. My tracker records at quite quick intervals and typically runs out of battery at about 8 hrs. Still a bit surpirsed as the main climbs were 350m (bridle path). 930m (herbert) and about 450m (summit road). Doesn't leave much for the ups and downs.
