I'm interested. They even tell you where the controls will be. I'd want to run the routes in advance to see which is advantageous.

I ran the first half of this for the inaugural running several year back, looks like the course has been refined since then - however it was ungodly hot and humid.
I faded after passing through the start/finish (which was control C that year, following A at the Mt Stickney Cabin and B up on Mt Rosebrook) and began the second climb back up to the top, made it about half way back up, then decided i only had enough mental capacity left to make it safely directly back to the finish.
Acidotic does put on a great race - have had quite a few of them at UNO events for navigation practice.
