Yeah, he is a kid who is doing a LOT of things. Sports, taking math at the high school (he is in junior high; he'll be taking math at Harvard when he is in high school), teaching younger kids at Temple, long distance hiking -- there are a lot of interests that could pull him away. But it really helps when we have the opportunity for him to hang out with other juniors, as at the Bretons' during West Point, or, hopefully, this summer on one of the junior training experiences. It was also good to have his parents run the Pygmy (in my stead) on Sunday, and overhear people saying nice things about Keegan.
For competition, he might want to consider the Canada 150 events near Montreal & Ottawa.
