Well, I just got around to looking at the map and results of the B Final. You showed what you can do. Nice job. Cool map. Reminds me of training we did on the sand dunes in Denmark. Very tricky. You obviously kept in touch with the map--which I found essential in that terrain. Hard to relocate, for sure. I'm curious to know what the vegetation looked like. In Denmark, the white woods were most very short scrubby trees and bushes--almost light green. The map shows darker green near the shore. What was that like? Did you get close enough to see it? Did you have fun? I haven't looked at the Middle yet but will soon. Looked like you varied activities made for a terrific trip overall.

yes, but did you see I lost 6:30 in the B final? At one point I told myself that it was a training race so didn't go to the path but went straight and had to relocate. Also had to relocate on a couple of other controls.. Lots of pampas (cutty) grass which meant poor visibility at times. Next year World Masters orienteering is in Denmark - and I move up a category!
