Top female! Fantastic! Bravo!! Chapeau!! So happy to hear that you are loving your new bike! And a delicious looking celebration after! Well deserved :)
Congrats !Nice work out there so glad the new bike worked so well!!
Look forward to an Albion ride soon!!
Congratulations! You might want to squander a little cash on a few inner tubes with longer valve stems, if the ones that came with the bike are short enough to make pumping the tires up problematic. In a few more excursions you'll probably have the bike to the point where it is pretty near perfect for you.
nice going bash! you look like you had fun too - great pics!
The tires are tubeless, with pretty short stems. I'm sourcing some Presta valve extenders. For now we have those Schrader adapters.
@Eldersmith, squandering cash has been my #1 pastime since my fateful trip into that bike shop a few weeks ago. ;) As 'Bent says, it's a bit weird with short valves on the wheels with tubeless tires. I was nearly in tears the first time I tried to pump my tires before a ride and they went flat.
@Mrs. Gally, congrats to you and Mr. Gally on finishing as the top team!
Oh my, Nadim & I got a good laugh out of 'Bent's mistakes were made. Nice recovery to finish 2nd!
Yes, your map/route comparison is hilarious!
Also, I did note the celebratory DQ fudge sundae:) - well deserved.
You've supported my DQ habit in the past and it has been much appreciated!
'Bent and I had a good laugh at our GPS tracks too. We were scrutinizing them together because I thought he was exaggerating about having 25 minutes of errors in a 100-minute trek. But I never should have doubted my husband. :)
Congrats Bash! Glad your bike rides so well:)
