Discussion: There's an app for that

So my one complaint about the new border machines at YVR was that you had to answer all the questions at the machine in the terminal, rather than filling in a paper form on the plane. Turns out the border people thought of that, and made an app so you can answer the questions on the plane, then scan a QR code at the machine.

If it works, then it seems perfect - works in airplane mode, is a tiny download, didn't ask for any permissions, and fixes my one niggle with the new system.

I'll never doubt you again, Canada.
