Reads like NEOC maps of a quarter century++ ago, eg Wells SP, Carpenter SF. There were quite a few. Very early on, who knew to question the map...
Boxford, '78 (USOC I think), was moving ahead a bit. And maybe if a new color map back then, it was more convincing...
High Rock, Harold Parker (1st/last too? "Trans-At" meet, 1984)...a parade of early NEOC "prototypical" maps. And it sounds like there are a few dinosaurs still around.
