I had a piece of bone break off my ankle when I busted it badly the first time, at age 13 or something. Three pieces of bone, actually, and they floated around my foot until they glommed on somewhere. I had one piece removed at 15yo, because it was hurting when I skied, but the other two pieces are still in there.
