i feel your pain. Sunday morning at 7am, it was so peaceful. until the truck showed up to powerwash the concrete apron of the maintenance building by the track.

But he probably felt he was being noble by working extra hours or he had to do it or get fired, and his entire weekend was booked doing powerwashing elsewhere because otherwise his kids would have nothing to eat but sugar cereal for a week, so I gritted my teeth, dug deep and kept running.

(btw are those 800 times correct? if so, maybe you should have a mower pace you at races)

guess who I saw headed to Moss yesterday when I rode by after work? Yep, the famous M Rubio, 50+ masters "sub-18" guy. He looked rather normal, no cape or big "S" on his chest. But he is training, which only means one thing, he is ready to crank out more sub-18 5Ks in the area. How does he do it? What is his training? Is it all just genetic? Enquiring minds want to know. At any rate, he is quite the motivation. Wouldn't it be great if he showed up at MO state senior games. If all the top masters guys from St Louis showed up, we would certainly represent the region well against the KC Smoke.
