Discussion: Gloworm fix?

What happened to yours? Mine had a problem with the wiring "harness" that prevented me from turning it on and off. It was fixed and returned with heftier wires.

It appears that a lightening induced power failure while charging the battery put the battery into protect mode (so it doesn't operate) and fried the charger. The battery is switched out of protect mode by putting it on the charger - but the charger has to work.

'Bent has offered to put my battery on one of his chargers to reset it. I would have dropped it off on my way back from Shelburne, but my phone forgot how to find a cell tower so I'd didn't get his message until after I got to Apple to get my phone sorted out. It was a bad 24 hrs for my electronic stuff - but it did encourage me to pack a higher degree of redundancy for my race in 10 days.

That *is* a lot of electronic bad luck! You must have been hacked by the Russians.
